Warning Those Behind TdF21
On any ride, whether it is the professional peloton or just a couple of friends out for a spin, it is the job of those on the front to point out dangers to those behind. When you are drafting off of the bike in front of you, you need to watch the wheel so it is easy to miss dangers in the road. Even riders on different teams do not wish to see their adversaries crash (a little different than the attitude in American football). Julian Vermonte (Etixx-Quickstep) as well as a rider from Lotto Soudal are showing those behind an approaching traffic island. Notice the dark skinned rider in third wheel, that is the Eritrea National Champion, Daniel Teklehaimanot (Dimension Data) who gained fame in last year's Tour by being the first African to ever wear a leader's jersey, the Maillot a Pois of King of the Mountains.
