Chad Haga (Sunweb) is not the only American still in this Tour de France, but he is sure riding a lonely stretch of road on this section of the 27 kilometer individual time trial course. Haga was the fifth rider to start today, but quickly started posting best times at each of the time checks out on course. He also posted the best time at the finish, for now. Ultimatedly he fell to seventeenth on the day, not quite the showning he had in this year's Giro d'Italia.
