Bradley Wiggins is having a rather odd Giro d'Italia. Stage 7 saw him losing over two minutes on a wet technical descent that had him on the ground on one corner. That crash seemed to take the drive out of the 2012 Tour de France champion. The next stage, the individual time trial, saw him finishing second on the stage and regaining all of the lost ground on his rivals. And then today, his team came to his aide to help him chase back onto the peleton. To Team Sky's credit, the peleton was in no mood to let the biggest challenger to rejoin their ranks.
