Yves Lampaert (Quick Step-Alpha Vinyl) dropped back to his team car to get a drink for himself and his teammates before the 20 kilometer ban on visiting the team cars. Lampaert looked great in the Maillot Jaune. He was quoted as saying, "I'm just a farmer's son, this is more than I dared dream for." And that humility was on full display at the end of the stage as he went to the front to help lead out his team's sprinter. That makes two years in a row that I have seen the Yellow Jersey leading out a sprint in the early stages of the Tour.
